The purpose of the Women’s Ministry at Worthington Christian Church is to encourage women to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and build meaningful friendships with one another.
We realize that every woman has different responsibilities in their day-to-day lives. Some work full- or part-time, some are busy stay-at-home moms, some are active retirees and some run their own businesses. With such a wide variety of schedules and responsibilities, the Women’s Ministry tries to offer Bible studies that are convenient for as many ladies as possible.

Ladies Christmas Dinner
Friday, Dec. 13 at 6:00 PM
Ladies, you’re invited to a Christmas Dinner on Friday, December 13 at 6:00 PM in the Youth Center.
This will be a wonderful time of fellowship, food, and fun as we prepare our hearts for Christmas! Since this is the time of year to give, we will collect items for the Laurels of Worthington Nursing Home residents. (Details of requested items will be posted soon.)
Our very talented Tiffany Jones will provide music to highlight the evening.
This event is open to all ladies of all ages. The cost is $10/person, payable at the door.

LADIES EMAIL DEVOTIONAL
Register today for our daily email devotions on the Book of Daniel beginning Monday, November 11 to Friday, December 20!
To prepare our hearts for Christmas, we will read through the remarkable Book of Daniel through daily email devotions. Daniel talks a lot about a perfect king who will rule with justice forever and calls this person "THE SON OF MAN." On Christmas Day, we will celebrate the coming of this King, Jesus!
Because Jesus, The Son of Man, came to this earth, lived a sinless life, and arose from the dead, He sits on the highest throne above every President, army, and power. Jesus is in control, and He will return!
Beginning Monday, November 11, through Friday, December 20, we will email a daily devotional (Monday through Friday) via email. These devotions include short three-minute videos from The Bible Project and Spoken Word Gospel.
The book of Daniel shows us the result of hundreds of years of the people of Israel refusing to listen to God. As we work through the Scripture, we will see that God is in control despite how we feel or what the world looks like. The first half of Daniel shows us, through historical accounts, that God is in control of the present, while the second half shows us, through visions, that God is in control of the future.
We pray that many of you will want to connect with God each day, knowing other women are also studying God’s Word with you!

- We will alternate between watching a three-minute video and reading one chapter of the Bible text every other day. The videos will provide insight into the reading for the following day.
- Video text will also be provided in writing for those who prefer to read the devotions.
