She is clothed with strength and dignity and she laughs without fear of the future.
Proverbs 31:25
The purpose of the Women’s Ministry at Worthington Christian Church is to encourage women to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and build meaningful friendships with one another.
We realize that every woman has different responsibilities in their day-to-day lives. Some work full- or part-time, some are busy stay-at-home moms, some are active retirees and some run their own businesses. With such a wide variety of schedules and responsibilities, the Women’s Ministry tries to offer Bible studies that are convenient for as many ladies as possible.

A Bend in the Road
August 2 at 9:00 AM in the Youth Center
Sometimes life is a challenge. The straight path you had thought you would be traveling now presents an unexpected bend in the road.
Have you been there? A job loss, a death, a fragile marriage, or an unexpected diagnosis are just a few of the bends in the road of life we encounter. At times, we may feel we will break from the weight of our exhaustion and grief, but even in the darkest of times, there is hope.
Pat Krebs has spent decades ministering to others as a hospital chaplain and clinical therapist. Recently, she was presented with her own bend in the road and will share practical wisdom found in scripture and tools that will help you or someone you know travel your path with faith and without fear.
Join us on Saturday, August 2, from 9:00 to 10:30 AM for ’A Bend in the Road’ in the Youth Center. A light breakfast will be provided, including coffee, juice, and pastries. If you need the Gluten-free option, please email Alison Morrow.
This event is FREE.

The Gospel of Mark
Email Devotional | June 9 to August 11
Mark wrote his gospel with this question in mind: “Why is a dead Jesus ‘Good News?’”
Unlike the other Gospels, Mark leaves us at the empty tomb with something important to ponder: “You saw what Jesus did. You heard what Jesus said. You have seen the empty tomb. Do you believe Jesus died for you? Do you believe He is alive?”
Mark helps us answer these questions through eyewitness accounts of those who encountered Jesus.
This summer, we will explore this fast-paced book about Jesus’s life. Devotions will appear in your inbox every Monday through Friday, beginning June 9 and ending August 11. Each devotion will take about five minutes to complete and is a thought-provoking look at the Gospel of Mark that will help you grow in your understanding of Jesus, the Son of God.
We pray many of you will want to connect with God daily through email, knowing other women are also studying God’s Word with you!
These devotions include short videos from The Bible Project and Spoken Gospel.

Daily Audio Bible
Have you ever thought about reading through the Bible but felt it would be too overwhelming? No worries! The Daily Audio Bible app can make reading the Bible both enjoyable and rewarding!
Why not make a resolution for 2023 to listen to the Bible in chronological order? God’s character is revealed progressively through the story of the Bible and journeying through His word chronologically will help bring clarity to His character and provide a fuller comprehension of who God is.
Download the app for FREE from your app store (iTunes or Google Play) today! The app has great content for the whole family, but we recommend checking out the “Chronological” box. A mother/daughter team will guide you though the Word of God and will use a different translation each week.
Contact Peggy Fenstermaker if you have any questions or run into any trouble!
