Who is VBS for?
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is for children aged 3 (potty-trained) through 5th grade in the fall and is dedicated to teaching children about God. Through music & song, Bible lessons, skits, and various fun & engaging activities, we share the good news that "God loves you" to each and every child.
Our goal is for every child who comes to VBS to have a positive and meaningful experience that will stick with them for the rest of their lives. Not every child who comes to VBS regularly attends church, and that's fine! Our goal is for each child who attends VBS to know that God loves and values them.
Our secondary goal is to provide a positive, meaningful experience for each and every one of our volunteers! We want our volunteers to have the opportunity to make an impact on our community by helping to introduce kids to God, perhaps for the first time.

Can my child go to VBS?
Yes! Vacation Bible School is for any child aged 3 (must be potty-trained) to the 5th grade in the fall!
Online registration will begin on Sunday, April 19. As long as we have plenty of volunteers, we will have plenty of room for your child to join us! (If you can volunteer, please consider doing so.)
And yes, you can register any time during VBS week, but only in person. If you need to register in person during VBS week, we encourage you to come early.
As always, Vacation Bible School is FREE.

Volunteer Opportunities:
Crew Leader
The Crew Leader will lead a small group of kids (elementary, kindergarten or preschool). There’s no preparation required. A good Crew Leader is a friend and helper for the kids and station leaders. They ask questions, take kids seriously, and encourage them throughout VBS.
Junior Crew Leader
The Jr. Crew Leader serves as a secondary crew leader for a group of kids (elementary, kindergarten, or preschool). They help manage supplies, get the crew from station to station, and help with experiences for their crew. A good Jr. Crew Leader is attentive and always looking for ways to help without being asked.
Elementary or Kindergarten / Preschool Crafts
Under the direction of the leader, assist groups of kids through the process of making a variety of crafts.
Elementary or Kindergarten / Preschool Games
Under the direction of the leader, assist groups of kids in participating in fun activities. You can expect lots of hard work, fun, and high-fives. (This is an outside position.)
Elementary Music & Missions
The team leads the songs during Sing & Play, Music & Missions, and Closing, and provides additional assistance to the Music & Missions leaders as needed.
Kindergarten / Preschool Music
Assist with leading Kindergarten / Preschool groups in a fun and exciting music time. Must be willing to stand in front of the crews and help them learn the motions and dances.
Floater
Fill in at any position as the need arises. This is an ideal position for anyone who may not be available each evening, or for someone who enjoys the challenge of helping in all areas of the program.
Participant Assistant
Provide one-on-one (or two) support for a child.
Registration
Provide support to volunteers and participants with registration. Assign volunteers and participants to Elementary Crews and Preschool groups. Collect and enter attendance during VBS, and provide assistance as needed. There will be workdays prior to the start of VBS to prepare name tags and reports.
Snacks
Assist with preparing snacks, serving snacks during Elementary Games, delivering snacks to preschool and kindergarten rooms, and picking up leftovers afterward. There will be a workday to prepare snacks the week before VBS.
Volunteer Meal Helper
Provide assistance in preparing, serving, and cleaning up the nightly meals that are provided to VBS Volunteers and their families.
